Connecting Helping Professionals Internationally
I’m very pleased to announce that I will be partnering with Social Work Helper.com, a social network dedicated to connecting non-profits, causes, students, Social Workers, and other helping professionals internationally for the purpose of increasing communication, collaboration, engagement, and support for one another.

As the Social Media Community Manager for SWHelper, I’ll be helping with the weekly Social Work Chats that take place on Mondays at 8pm EST using the #SWUnited hashtag. These conversations serve to provide information and awareness on today’s social issues.
I will also serve as a contributor, sharing selected posts from my Blog: Notes from an Aspiring Humanitarian (N.A.H.) at RelandoThompkins.com with readers of the SocialWork Helper Blog to further my desire to improve intergroup relations, and build more equitable and inclusive communities while encouraging others to take social action in their own ways.

Oh, I almost forgot to compliment you on your new layout… it looks great! Much lighter and more cheerful than your prior version (although it too looked very professional).

I also appreciate the compliment on my new layout. I like that the font’s a lot bigger than my previous look, and hopefully that will help with it’s readability and attractiveness to visitors. Its a work in progress and I’m doing some experimenting. I’m not yet sure about what the end result will look like, but I’m so glad to hear that you like this one!
